Result
Panorama Slate 10 window film addressed the heat and glare while preserving the abundant and desirable natural light. The Lake Cabin, especially the kitchen area feels cooler, so Erin and her family spend more time there. They're not worried about their furnishings fading prematurely, and they haven’t had to sacrifice their view. Erin couldn’t be happier with the reasonable cost, and the easy, professional installation. In fact, here's what Erin had to say:
"Alex and Laura were very professional in all our interactions. We had film installed on our lake cabin windows that received hot afternoon sun. The glare created so much heat it would literally melt food left on the kitchen counter! Our first afternoon after the film was installed, we could immediately feel the difference. The countertops weren't even warm. Thank you, Alex and Laura, for an easy process and great product, we are so pleased!"

The Case of the Melting Trail Mix - Panorama Slate 10 Solar Control Film
Situation
Erin and Bill's lake cabin on the East side of beautiful Deer Lake features large upper windows that allow gorgeous lake and sunset views, but the blazing afternoon sun turned those windows into a source of discomfort for Erin and her family. Blinding glare, oppressive heat and furniture-fading UV rays were a near-constant presence. Trail mix in a container on the kitchen counter would melt leaving a sticky mess. Installing blinds would hide their view and block out the natural light, as well as costing a near fortune, so they went in search of a better solution and found Panorama window film.
