The Case of the Wood Blinds that Turned into Radiators - ASWF Horizon 20 Bronze Solar Control Film
Situation
Case and Jamie's beautiful Lewiston, Idaho home features large upper and lower West facing windows that give gorgeous sunset views, but the blazing afternoon sun turned those windows into a source of discomfort for Case and his family. Blinding glare, oppressive heat and furniture-fading UV rays were a near-constant presence. Jamie related that they tried to address their solar issues by installing expensive wood blinds, but found that they were a less than ideal solution. The blinds hid their view and blocked out the natural light, and in addition, the heat would build up between the windows and blinds and turn them into radiators, so they went in search of a better solution.

Solution
Panorama dealers Alex and Laura Draeger, of Therma Shield Solar Control, helped transform Case and Jamie’s beautiful Lewiston home into the comfortable retreat it was designed to be.
